iPhone 5 to be GSM + CDMA world phone ?

Unwired View reports that the next generation iPhone might be packing in dual mode GSM + CDMA capabilities. App usage logs for a high profile iOS developer indicate two different sets of MCC (Mobile Country Code) and MNC (Mobile Network Code) codes from the same device. The codes correspond to AT&T and Verizon.

This clearly indicates the presence of a dual mode chip while dashing all hopes for an LTE enabled iPhone. Why ? Because a dual mode LTE chip does not exist as of now. With Apple planning to shift to Qualcomm as its chipset manufacturer it all starts making even more sense. Thankfully not much time remains till we hear about the final specifications of the iPhone 5.
